Welcome

NOFAS NH is passionate about raising community awareness regarding fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). FASD is caused when a woman drinks alcohol during pregnancy which may result in birth defects, learning disabilities and behavioral problems. FASD is 100% preventable and can be a lifelong disability.

NOFAS NH envisions a community where all babies are born alcohol free… and a community that embraces, honors, and empowers individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol and their families. We envision building bridges that connect and unify professionals, individuals prenatally exposed to alcohol, families, and community members in New Hampshire

NOFAS NH is committed to advocating for identification, prevention, and intervention of individuals in the area of FASD. We are committed to providing support to individuals and families affected by FASD.
